These are investigation notes based on the rabbit_msg_store comment at line 1347 in commit e56b479dd8d87e0c592fa35112cd6f3311e80084.

The open question is when Classic Queue V2 changed from calling fsync, which requests durable storage, to flushing data through a less strict path, and what durability guarantee changed with it.
